Life, Seasonal

5 Reasons I Love Christmas/Winter

1. Christmas Has an Important Meaning.

The birth of Jesus Christ is the reason for the season, after all. It’s something we honor and celebrate every year. The day isn’t about the gift-giving, although it is something that we do because of the gifts he was given at his birth. It’s about Him.

2. Family Gatherings

It’s fun getting together with my family and loved ones. Whether I am buying something for everyone or just playing a present game, it’s always fun socializing with them. There are new memories created every year, and that’s what matters.

3. Good Food

It seems that Christmas motivates everyone to make better food. I guess the special occasion calls for extra good food. Enough said.

4. Hoodies and Sweaters

This is an unpopular opinion, but: I love winter. It is definitely, by far, my favorite season. There’s just something so great about being able to wear warm hoodies and sweaters in the chilly weather. I’d much rather be a little cold with the option to wear a hoodie and wrap myself in a blanket than be sweating under a hot sun.

5. Lights and Decorations

All the festive lights and decorations brighten everyone’s mood. It’s really hard to be in a bad mood with Christmas decorations everywhere you look. The whole month of December usually means a good mood for everyone.
